He was predeceased by: his parents, Knute Peterson and Gladys Peterson (Mohr); his former wife Mary Margaret Kelly; and his sisters, Aileen Spring and Joanne Stover.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Marlene" Noeske; his daughters, Christine Drum (Dennis) of Peoria, Kathleen Miller of Marquette Heights, Deborah Blahnik (Dave Bandeko) of Peoria and Diane Higgins (Rudy) of Germantown Hills; his stepchildren, Vicki Noeske Sarbacher of Nevada, Patti Noeske of California, Robert Noeske of Wisconsin, Steve Noeske of Wisconsin and Tom Noeske of Wisconsin; and his brother William Peterson of Indiana. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society.
