She is survived by: her children, Eric Carpenter, Tyrone "Tyra" Smith, Jerome Smith, Earnestine Carpenter (Chris Dinkins), Eisha Bovan (Roger), Clovis Smith (Jeffrey Hopkins) and Mary Ann Smith; and her siblings, Johnny Carpenter, Jimmy Carpenter, Fannie Mae Carpenter, Mary Smith and Nancy Carpenter. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sovereign Grace M. B. Church (1505 W Martin St, Peoria, IL 61605). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
