Bernard Lee Bruggeman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Lee Bruggeman of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on September 2, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Bernard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Bernard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Bruggeman and Colleen Bruggeman (Tracey); his nephew Forrest Coffey (Amanda) of Pekin; his great-nephew Trevor Coffey of Pekin; and his great-niece Addison Coffey (Forrest Coffey, Jr.) of Pekin.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7519 N Allen Rd, Peoria, IL 61614).
