With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard Grundy of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on May 18, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bernard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bernard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Linus Grundy and Anna Margaret Grundy (Young); his wife Tracy Grundy; and his daughter Megan DeFoor. He is survived by: his siblings, Evie Hager (Greg) of Taylorville, Patricia Beske (Steve) of Arizona, Richard Grundy (Rochelle) of Morrisonville, Elizabeth Wemple (Robert) of Taylorville and Amanda Wayman (Mark) of Palmer. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
