We are sad to announce that, on February 18, 2023, at the age of 101, Carl H. Porter Jr. (Peoria, Illinois), born in Manito, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl H. Porter Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Sr. Porter and Grace Schenert Porter; his children, Carl "Chip" Porter of Ketchikan and Lisa Simono of Prineville; his grandchildren, Andrea Wargi of Ketchikan, Britteny Matero of Prineville, Benson Short of Silverton and Emily Ward of Kona, Hawaii; and his wife Marly. He was also cherished by eleven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Carl requested donations be made to the "Friends and Family of the 508 PIR Association" C/O Chris Harris-Treasurer, 160 W Castellano Dr. Apt. 6013 El Paso, TX 79912.
