She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert "Pete" Peterson and Julia Peterson (Wynd). She is survived by: her children, Heather Hopkins of Dunlap and Nathan Adams (Olga) of Palatine, IL; her grandchildren, Noah, Sydney, Sienna Hopkins, Sophia and Oliver Adams; her sister Diane Reiss (Steve); her nephews, Adam (Heather) and Grant Reiss (Hany); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Will, Ava, Kayla, Blake Reiss and Lee Hager.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church in Carol's name.
