Carolyn A. Coleman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn A. Coleman (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Phillips and Marie Phillips (Tomascheski); and her husband Steven Coleman. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Coleman of Lafayette, IN, Matthew Coleman (Holly) of Chillicothe, IL, Alicia Pearman (Andy) of High Point, NC and David Coleman (Ashley) of Peoria; and her sisters, Marianne Waldman of Peoria and Susie Phillips of Peoria. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (1000 W Albany Ave, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials in Carolyn's memory may be made to St. Philomena Parish.
