He was predeceased by: his father Charles R. Royer, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Mabel Ann Fryer Royer; his children, Charles R. Royer III of Metamora and Catherine Floyd (August Schultz); his grandchildren, Andre Floyd and Kayleigh Royer; his siblings, Richard, Corella Bair and James Royer; and his nephew Blade Bair.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home or Bob, Michel Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic.
