It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cindy J. Murphy (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on July 28, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Thompson and Betty Thompson (Ethington); and her siblings, Becky Thompson, Maggie Recar, Edward Thompson, Johnny Thompson, Mikey Thompson, Patrick Thompson and Joseph Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Murphy (Shannon) of Peoria, Sarah Knickerbocker (Adam) of East Peoria and Lindsey Murphy of Peoria Heights; and her siblings, Mary Hansen (Larry), Debbie Tomblin (Brian), Terry Thompson, Jerry Thompson (Sandy), Gary Thompson (Deanna), Dennis Thompson (Liz) and Frank Thompson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Cindy's family to care for her grandchildren.
