It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Crystal Y. Ruffin of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2022, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sister Callie Mae Hudson and John D. Hudson Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Lee Ruffin; her daughters, Simone Ruffin, Ciera Ruffin and Selena Ruffin; her pet Jax; and her siblings, John D. Hudson Jr. (Annette), Rose Hudson, Sharon Buckner and Lester Hudson (Kim). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the Ruffin family ask that friends and family consider donating to Susan G. Komen, as Crystal spent countless years after her own battles with breast cancer pouring into the efforts of the Susan G. Komen Memorial Affiliate to end breast cancer and support those affected in the meantime.
