He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bohan and Dorothy Bohan (Seeds); and his brother Patrick Bohan. He is survived by: his wife Carol of Peoria; his children, Melanie Owens (Jim) of Canton, Chris Bohan (Cassie) of Peoria Heights, Lisa Long (Dale Allen) of Peoria, Steve (Krissy) of Peoria, Josh of Sparland, Kevin of Peoria and Sarah Bohan of Peoria; his grandchildren, Grace, Joshua, Lena Owens, Jonathon, William Long, Leo, Samuel, Isabella Allen, Emelia, Bennett Bohan and Dorothy Pearl Bohan; his brother Tim Bohan (Elaine) of San Francisco; his nephew Louis Bohan; and his niece Evelyn Jones (Flynn).
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Wright & Salmon Mortuary (2416 North North Street, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (1000 W Albany Ave, Peoria, IL 61604).
Preferred memorials in Dan's memory may be made to Central Illinois Right to Life or St. Philomena Catholic Church.
