With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dennis Carl West of Peoria, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward West and Mary West (McKeown); and his sisters, Monica Meyer (Monie), Mary Sibert and Cindy Ewing.
He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Allsworth (Tschaepe); his children, Kimberly McCumber (Glen), Lynnelle Jenkins (Devon), Nathan (Christina) and Daniel; his grandchildren, Sasha and Clayton Jenkins; his stepsons, Tom Allsworth (Jane) and Mike Allsworth; his stepgranddaughters, Samantha and Sophia Allsworth; his sister Patti Eakley (Tom); and his brothers-in-law, Al Meyer, Larry Sibert and Peter Tschaepe (Lois). He is also survived by several stepsiblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (116 NE Perry Ave, Peoria, IL 61603). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
