He is survived by: his fiancée Angela Burnside; his children, Derrick Davis Jr., Tyesha Davis, Shakietra Davis, Martinez Shorty and Montell Shorty; his siblings, Anthony Neal (Antrella), James Davis (Contrese), Orland Parker (Debra), Dedrick Parker, Byron Davis, Mary Neal, Monica Parker, Cynthia Wilson, Rosemary Davis and Lisa Leonard (Barry); his aunts, Linda Rainey (Wilbert) and Carolyn Williams (Arthur); his great-uncle Will Davis (Shirley); and his close friends, Marcus Burnside, David Sumrell, Lester King and Michael Shorty. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church (505 W Nebraska Ave, Peoria, IL 61605). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
