With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dominque D. Stringer of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 30. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Bobbie Barnett; his brother David Stringer Jr.; and his godfathers, Deacon John Sims (Linda) and Joseph Bricker. He is survived by: his parents, Jackie Thurmond and David Stringer Sr. (Donsha Stringer); his sibling Dequiez Stringer; his aunt Ann March-Bricker; and his grandparents, Kaddie Thurmond and Dominque.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (305 S Madison Park Terrace, Peoria, IL 61605). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
