It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gene Kalb Sr. of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kalb and Mary Kalb; and his son Robert William Kalb. He is survived by: his wife Robbin Kalb; his children, Donald G. Kalb Jr., Frank A. Surrells, James N. Surrells, Brian Curtis, Georgia A. Pierce, Tammy Fuller, Tonia Smith and Tracy Holland; and his siblings, Joe Kalb, Earl Kalb and Margie Browning. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel (2021 N University St, Peoria, IL 61604).
