She was predeceased by: her parents, George Krabel and Blanche Krabel (Wade); her husband Max N. Salmon; her son-in-law Kevin Palka; and her brothers, Lloyd Krabel, Wayne Krabel and Dale Krabel.

She is survived by: her children, Juli Palka of Peoria, Dave Salmon (Debbie) and Jason Salmon (Amber) of Dunlap; and her grandchildren, Madison Johnson (Trevor), Hannah Palka, Mark, Logan Jenkins and Julian Jordan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Donna's memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
