She is survived by: her children, Matthew Thornton (Bertha Rueda) of Veracruz, Nicholas Thornton of Upper Jay, Jennifer Thornton (Kevin O'Gorman) of Washington, D. C. and Julia Reinthaler (Wade) of Bluffton; her granddaughters, Renee Elise Reinthaler and Callie Liston (Brock); and her cousins, Karen Krizan of Kirkland and Regina Doyle Symonds of Marble Head, Massachusetts..
