He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Markle and Mildred Markle (Deavers); his wife Lois Caho; and his siblings, Betty Helms and John Emery.
He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Markle of Peoria, Randy Markle (Ann Marie) of Germantown Hills, Roger Markle (Janice) of Mapleton and Robert Markle (Christina) of Mapleton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel (2021 N University St, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
