He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose G. Ponce and Teodora Ponce (Ortiz); and his siblings, Esteban G. Ponce, Ismael Ponce, Andres Cervantes, Jr., Maria L. Currens and Norma Ponce.
He is survived by: his children, Sonia Ponce, Sophia Ponce, Eduardo JW Ponce, Michelle Huddleston (Justin) and Jose "A. J." Ponce (Chelsea); his siblings, Ernestina Stelmach, Evangeline Albaugh (Larry), Rogelio Ponce and Ricardo Ponce; and his grandchildren, Talia, Michael, Mitchell, Tiana, Ariana, Toryn, Talor, Desmond, Archer, Cecilia, Felix and Holden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist the family with final expenses.
