He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Ray and Zoe Ann Ray (Clark); and his brother Robert Ray of Perryville, MO.. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Ray (Cecilia) of Eden Prairie, MN, Craig Ray (Amy) of Bettendorf, IA, Angela Diener (Jon) of Naperville, IL, Patrick Ray (Renae) of Riverside, IL, Christopher Ray (Jodi) of Cedar Park, TX and Peter Ray (Kristi) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Mollie, Zachary, Natalie, Alexander, Sophie, Benjamin, Katelyn, Abraham, Lucy, Joshua, Laurel, Samuel, Nathan, Delia, Silas, Michael, Theodore and Declan; his great grandchildren, Audri, Miles and Daisy; and his sister-in-law Francine Ray.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
