She was predeceased by: her parents, George Peter Speck, Sr. and Florence M. Sapp Houlihan Speck; her former husband Michael T. Rule; her half-sister Colleen Houlihan Boken (late Vernon); her siblings, Roberta Sathoff and George P. Speck, Jr.; her half-brothers, John Speck, G. Phillip Speck and Kenneth Speck; Geoffrey Speck.
She is survived by: her husband William V. Sommerfield; and her sister-in-law Linda Speck of Wanganui, NZ. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews, four half-nieces and nephews.
