He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Coats-Tunstall of Peoria, IL; his children, Trayveance Tunstall of Texas, Timothy Coats of Peoria, IL, Carl Coats of Peoria, IL, Shakenya Jenkins of Memphis, TN, Yasmine Tucker of Holly Springs, MS, Erica Tunstall of Chicago, IL, C'Anna Tunstall of Peoria, IL, Abby Coats of Peoria, IL and Angel Coats of Peoria, IL; and his siblings, Calvin Tunstall of Little Rock, AR, James Tunstall of Holly Springs, MS and Jacqueline Mettles of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sovereign Grace M. B. Church (1505 W Martin St, Peoria, IL 61605). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
