She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas P. Murphy; her siblings, James Loula and Polly Meagher; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Deisenroth and Phil Meagher.
She is survived by: her children, Brian W. Gustafson (Susie), Mike Gustafson (Stacey) and Jean Gustafson-Mannen (Mark); her grandchildren, Patrick Gustafson, Ashley Godfrey (Josh), Brock Gustafson (Drew), Ben Gustafson, Amanda Rawlinson (Eli), Murphy Mannen, Michael Mannen and Campbell Gustafson; her brother John Deisenroth; and her sister-in-law Carol Loula. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as the so many close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (3601 N Sheridan Rd, Peoria, IL 61604). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, and for those wishing to make a memorial donation, the family requests supporting any of Jeania's favorite charities, which reflected her lifelong mission to help those in need: Food for the Poor, Doctors Without Borders.
