He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Jones and Mamie Jones; his son Galen Jones; and his siblings, Catherine Scott and Walter Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel McManis; his daughter Kimberly Jones; his stepdaughters, Cynthia White (John) and Amy McGee; and his nephews, George Wesley Scott and Gil Moody. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
