He is survived by: his wife Margaret Evans (Calkin); his children, Jill Evans-Clausen (Brian), Craig J. Van Sweringen, Mark J. Van Sweringen and Michael Lee Van Sweringen; and his siblings, Darrel Evans, Roger Evans and Jan Hawkins.
