It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lawrence Sr. of Peoria, Illinois, born in Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Lawrence and Gayle Jones Lawrence; his children, Gary Lawrence Jr., Timothy Lawrence, Thomas Lawrence and Brenda DeSanty (Jeff); his stepchildren, David Closen, Deanna Closen, Darren Closen (Bridget), Douglas Closen, John Long and Angela Long; his siblings, Larry Lawrence (Barbara) and Sandra Wilson (Dave); and his stepson Sean Long. He was also cherished by Seventeen grandchildren.
