He is survived by: his children, Sherri Justice, Terry Justice (Elizabeth Blair), Tobie Askvig and Brian Janes (Holly); his grandchildren, Cory Donath (Halie), Ashley Shipp (Blaize), Nick Janes (Carissa), Zach Janes, Brooke Nussel (Junior), Joshua Janes, Audrey Blair, Austin Blair, Colleen Cagle and Chase Cagle; his great grandchildren, Xander, Jaxson Shipp, Addison, Brantley, Rylie Janes, Saylor, Wyatt, Aspen and Weston Nussel; and his cousin Steven Rout.

Memorials may be made to the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
