It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Giovante Boyd in Peoria, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Earnestine Martin. He is survived by: his parents, Tara Boyd and Lonza Martin; his sister Raven Boyd; his siblings' child Donaven of Lonza; his sibling Wommack; his siblings' children, Olivia, Aria, Nya and Shasneke Martin; his great-nieces and great-nephews, AaNique, KazMier, SaMoni and Kamarion; his niece Lona Martin; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylen, Taliah and Nova; his siblings' children, Stephon Martin, LaDawn Martin, LaMaury Martin and Tyaisa Williams; his grandmother Sandra Boyd; his aunts and uncles, Sonya, Yvette, Kimberly, Tami, Annie, Mary, Mattie Kay, John, Alphonse, James, Jimmy, Kevin and Stephen; his sister Kendra; his siblings' children, Treyvon, Ethean and Aari; and also Rolan (Patricia Rios). He is also survived by many cousins and special friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wendt Funeral Home (1811 15th St Pl, Moline, IL 61265).
