It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gyneva Newbern of Peoria, Illinois, born in Larned, Kansas, who passed away on August 13, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles White and Lula White (Jones); her sister Barbara White; and her nephew Chase White. She is survived by: her children, Tia Duncan, Jason Johnson and Kendell Johnson Sr.; and her siblings, Lynnda White of Peoria, Bea Wells of Memphis, Tennessee and Raven White of Peoria, Illinois.
