He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Dean and Helen Louise Plack (Simkins); and his brothers, Bob Plack and Don Plack. He is survived by: his wife Janet E. McKeighan (Dress); his sons, James and Michael McKeighan; his daughters-in-law, Mary "Renee" (Blakey) and Teri (Ingram); his great grandchild James; his granddaughter Erin Orr (Jon); his great grandchildren, Megan McKeighan (Alicia), Ryan McKeighan (Kayla), Allison Flessner (Brad), Matt and Ben Hagen; his siblings, Tom Plack (Sue) and Louise Reinhart (Mike); and his sister-in-law Barb Plack (Bob Anderson). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Red's memory to Michael J Fox Foundation and Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
