With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Eddie Brooks of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on May 13, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Brooks and Vivian Brooks; and his siblings, George, Wayne, Donald, Richard and Katherine Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Reddy; his sister Della Johnson; his children, Mary Motteler (Jerry), Eddie Brooks, Patrick Brooks (Vicki), Michael Brooks (Jody), Mark Brooks and Ann Anderson (Jim); his grandchildren, Clifford, Molly, Hannah, Emily, Brooke, Taylor, Nicholas, Michael, Sarah, Catherine and Jason; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, Tinley, Lily, Vivian and Hailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Herman's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
