He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Z. Hendon and Louella Owens; his daughter Sisely Cagle; his siblings, Eddie Carroll, Robert Johnson Jr., Lavaughn Carroll, Dennis Hendon, Everette Hendon, Robert Hendon, Raymond Hendon, Ernest Carroll and Leola Henderson; and his grandson Demetrius Fernando.
He is survived by: his wife Robyn Owens; his son Jacoby Owens of Peoria; and his siblings, Albert Hendon (Linda) of Peoria, Johnnie Hendon of Peoria, Maxcine Hendon of Peoria, Kathryn Malone of Peoria, Trenia Henderson-Mackey (Leroy) of Peoria, Delores Henderson of Peoria, Mamie Henderson of Peoria and Arminger Carroll of Peoria.
