He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hopson and Bell Hopson (Davis); his siblings, Artis Hopson, Earl Hopson, Alfred and Joella Burton; and his great grandchild London Hopson.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Hopson of Peoria, IL; his son Ira Darryl Hopson of Peoria, IL; his stepson Galelen Loveless of Jacksonville, FL; and his grandchildren, Darryl Hopson (Thanayi) of Justin, TX and Maurica Washington of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
