He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ferris and Mary Ferris (Young). He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Kovachevich of Peoria; and his sister Karen Steffen. He is also survived by three nephews and two nieces.

Preferred memorials in Jack's memory may be made as masses in Jack's memory or to St. Philomena Catholic Church.
