He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nevitt and Genevieve Nevitt (Cheesman); his wife Marlene Watts; his grandson Andrew Mercer; and his great grandchild Samuel Roesler.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Nevitt (Linda) of Peoria, Debbie Nevitt of Joliet, IL and Vickie Mika (Dan) of Mexico, MO; his grandchildren, Angela, Matthew, Erica, Katelynn and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Jaydan, Jackson, Nora, Lux, Chance, Jacob, Matthew, Sadie, Elizabeth and Sawyer; and his siblings, Sandra Nelson (Rod) of Kingman, AZ., Gerald Nevitt (Phyllis) of Peoria and Michael Nevitt of Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
