Jalyn E. Parks Obituary
Jalyn Parks, 22, of Peoria, IL, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, August 28, 2023.
She was born on July 27, 2001, to Greg (Colleen) Corkron and Jaime (Daniel) Hilst.
Jalyn is survived by her parents; three sisters and two brothers: Serena (Mason) Clemons, PVT Klaus Krus, Ady, Cassie, and Ely Corkron; one niece; and best friend, Brooklyn.
She graduated from Washington High School and went on to work at Pat A Cake Learning Academy and St Mark's Child Care. She loved working with the kids and enjoyed her job very much.
Jalyn also loved to draw and paint. It provided her peace and comfort while going through treatments.
She was a beautiful sunflower and a ray of sunshine who loved making people happy. Her smile lit up a room and she will be deeply missed by all.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Highview Christian Church, 403 James Parkway, Washington, IL 61571.
