He is survived by: his wife Patricia Heyd; and his children, Christine Clemons (Jim), Bridget Callaway, James P. Callaway, Jr., Charles Callaway (Jennifer), Margaret Moore (Dustin) and Mary Pat Byrkit (Andrew). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to St. Thomas Catholic Church or The Children's Hospital of Illinois.
