With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Runkle of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Runkle and Jeanne Runkle (Waugh); and his daughter Jayme. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Runkle (Christine) of Mt. Prospect and Josh Runkle (Amy) of Highland Park; his grandchildren, Paige, Brooke, Kyle and Ellie; and his siblings, Tim Runkle of Morton and Sue Blasco of Peoria.
