He is survived by: his wife Julie Darnell; his daughter Jenna Walters (Greg); his grandchildren, Haley of Peoria Heights, Greyson of Peoria Heights and Lydia of Peoria Heights; his son James Semmelroth Darnell (Leah Bussell); his grandchildren, Mark and Jade of Roxbury, Vermont; and his nephew Richard Zinser (Myra Murrill) of Austin, Texas..
In honor of that special relationship and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jo Ann Landis Semelroth Nursing Scholarship at Methodist College, 7600 N. Academic Drive, Peoria.
