She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Joos and Ruth Joos; her former husband W. Paul Buchanan; her daughter Kathy; her brother Dave Joos; and her grandson Jesus.
She is survived by: her husband Carl "Bill" Wiese; her children, Jeff, Kim, John, Daniel and Elizabeth; and her brother Steve Joos. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren, as well as extended family.
In keeping with Janice's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Teen Challenge of the Greater Midwest or Dream Center Peoria, organizations reflecting her desire to help others and leave something meaningful behind.
