We are sad to announce that, on November 17, 2025, at the age of 87, JoAnn Kay Masterson of Peoria, Illinois, born in Pekin, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid JoAnn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For JoAnn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Masterson; her grandchildren, Mark, Alex Dimler, Hollis, Efrem and Lu Ella Masterson; and her daughter-in-law Lorena Masterson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Notre Dame.
