He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Spalding Slevin and Lucile Slevin (Wagner); his great-uncle Bishop John Lancaster Spalding; his wife Mary Slevin (Hurst) of Peoria; his daughters, Kathleen M Hagen (Jeff) of Charlotte, NC, Maureen A Reynolds (Joe) of Greensboro, GA, Bridget M Slevin of Peoria, Meaghan E Slevin of Peoria, IL and Moira D Nolan (Jerome) of Wheat Ridge, CO; and his grandsons, John S. Slevin (Kate Ralph) of Peoria, IL, Brian Eugene Slevin of San Diego, CA and Kevin H Slevin (Amy Kammins) of Fort Collins, CO.. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Perferred Memorials in John's memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul society of Peoria or St. Anns Catholic Church.
