He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold F. Schlicksup and Gertrude Schlicksup (Degnen); his son John Francis, Jr.; his sister Rosemary Bayless; his former wife Virginia Schlicksup (Ginny); his children, Regina Johnson of Champaign, IL, Hal Schlicksup (Sharon) of Dunlap, IL, Sue Schearer (Bob) of Tuscon, AZ, Dan Schlicksup of Dunlap, IL, Cathy Stevenson (Rob) of Peoria Heights, IL, Andy Schlicksup (Amy) of Peoria Heights, IL and Tessie Bucklar (Tom) of Peoria Heights, IL; and his stepchildren, Greg Kimberley (Laura) of Kinard, FL and Diane Gomez (Carl) of Peoria, IL. He was also cherished by his fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
