It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Isadore Ilya Mendel of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Joe Mendel and Mary Mendel of Chesterfield, MO; his brothers, Mike Wilson (Beth Rapoff) and Matthew Mendel; his siblings' children, Finn and Charlotte Wilson; his aunts, Darlene, Sharon and Helen; and his great-uncle Phil. He is also survived by Uncle Al and many cousins.
