He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Moss and Virginia Moss (Grant); and his brothers, Dennis Moss Jerry Moss and David Moss. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Moss of Peoria, IL; his children, Michelle Moss of St. Louis, MO, Dennis Moss (Julie) of Michigan and Ansted Moss of Michigan; his stepdaughters, JenNell Lewis of Peoria, IL and Devri Burns of Peoria, IL; and his siblings, Jimmy Moss (Rosezette) of Peoria, IL, Terry Moss of Peoria, IL, Ethel Moss of Peoria, IL, Rose Smith of Peoria, IL and Mamie Smith of Peoria, IL. He is also survived by two grandchildren; one great-grandson; a host of step grand and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sovereign Grace M. B. Church (1505 W Martin St, Peoria, IL 61605). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
