He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Paul Malzahn; and his niece Julie Pallas. He is survived by: his wife Suzanna Weiss of Peoria; his children, David Weiss (Lee Anne) of New Port Richey, FL, Thomas Weiss of Peoria, Michelle Southey (Clay) of Peoria, Deborah Weiss of Peoria and Timothy Weiss (Jennifer) of Elm Grove, WI; his grandchildren, Ryan, Alex, Susanna, Christian, Peyton, Patrick, Paxtyn, Piper and Noah; and his siblings, David Weiss (Helga), Joel Weiss (Darlene), Barbara Goodwin (Gail) and Janet Malzahn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
