Joseph Sparks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Sparks of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Sparks and Agnes Sparks; his wife Mary Helen Sronce; and his brother William "Bill" Sparks. He is survived by: his children, Joanna Smoot (Donny Bartholomew), Andy Sparks (Kristen), Wes Sparks and Joe Sparks; his stepchildren, Leah Williams, Lenny Williams (Lisa), Gene Ray Williams (Marti), Larry Williams (Brenda) and Neal; and his brother Ronald Sparks (Lynn).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Haensel-Oswald Funeral Home (501 S Orchard St, Mackinaw, IL 61755). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
