She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Houlihan and Gladys Houlihan (Nicholson); her husband William Charles Holderness; her son Christopher Lawrence "Chris" Holderness; and her daughter-in-law Gena Holderness (Frye).
She is survived by: her sons, William "Butch" Charles Holderness of Sunnyland and James Holderness of Sobieski, Wisconsin.; her grandsons, Donovan Holderness of Sobieski, Wisconsin, Eli Holderness of Sobieski, Wisconsin, Spencer Holderness of Sobieski, Wisconsin, Reid Holderness of Sobieski, Wisconsin, Andrew Holderness (Morgan Holderness) of Metamora, Illinois and Conner Holderness (Rebekah Holderness) of Washington, Illinois.; her great grandchildren, Monroe (Rosie), Ryder and Lawrence; and her sisters, Jackie Houlihan Fuller (David) of Tremont and Terri Houlihan McKimson (Rodney) of Tremont. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Fondulac Township Cemetery (1985 E Washington St, East Peoria, IL 61611).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
