He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Burdick and Helen Burdick (Jacobs); his sister Barb Azbill; and his brother-in-law Denton Hushaw. He is survived by: his children, Mike Burdick (Kathy) of Effingham, Amy Windsor (Tim) of Peoria, Susan Burdick of Peoria and Polly Walcott (Todd) of Lexington, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Nate Burdick (Alyssa), Ammon Probst (Troy), Ben Burdick (Melissa), Abby Burdick, Anna Windsor, Peter Windsor, Emma Windsor, Tessa Zellar (Michael), Lillie Patton (Will) and Tate Walcott; and his sister Mary Hushaw. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
