He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Knox and Emily Knox; his siblings, Walt and Maxine; his spouse Shirley J. Turpin; and his daughters, Vickey Knox and Cheryl Knox.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, William Blumenshine (Jennifer), Jennifer Hooks (Aiki), Amanda Knox and Courtney Knox; and his brother Hank. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
